Well. Cambodia is another country with a god awful history (and far too recently for my liking) who hasn’t yet made it out of the negative funk. The Cambodian people vote with a huge majority for a new parliament but politicians being politicians do what they want and Cambodia remains stuck in the past, unable to move forward. It’s such a shame as all the people we met are amazingly friendly with their beautiful smiles and grateful attitudes. I hope that sooner or later someone will care a whole awful lot and be able to help Cambodia get better. Continue Reading
Winging it has gone exceptionally well for us. There is a huge amount of freedom associated with the ability to make your own decisions while travelling. Do you dare to stay out? Do you dare to go in? It’s totally up to you and you can decide on the fly! We met some other travellers who had been travelling for 6 months and had no plan at all. They had ended up staying in Hoi An for three weeks just because they loved it so much. That’s the dream! Continue Reading
